Two (2) lists of all proxies that have been OK'd by the TO's and what they are representing.
Dice, a tape measure, pen or pencil, and any counters you need for remembering stuff.
While it is not used for final scoring for winning side, please mark the VP you earn each mission. This may be used in Tiebreakers if needed later.
Legions Imperialis Players should have a full set of Order tokens for their army.
Armies will be required to be fully built, painted, and based to the 3 Color Standard.
Fully painted is a loose term. You may always be adding more detail. You may put 3 colors on and be done. What we are asking with this isn’t for a Studio Quality model. We are asking that all models be built completely and at least have their basecoat and a few details picked out. Put in your best effort and you should have nothing to worry about. Reach out to TO’s if you have questions.
Your skill in painting is not important, and you will not be turned away for it. Everyone is at different levels and we are not attempted to force folks to paint above what they can.
If for extenuating circumstances you cannot paint your army fully prior to the event please contact us. We are not going to force someone to not play because they broke their hand and cannot paint for 4 weeks.
There will be a Award for Best Painted
Always be polite and respectful
Always tell the truth and never cheat
Arrive on time with all of the things you need to play the game
Avoid using language your opponent may find offensive
Offer your opponent a chance to examine your army roster before the battle starts
Answer any questions your opponent has about your army and the rules that apply to your army
Measure moves and distances carefully and accurately. When in doubt, confirm distances with your opponent before moving
Give your opponent the chance to examine your dice rolls before picking up the dice.
Ask permission before touching any of your opponent’s models
Remind your opponent about rules they may have forgotten to use or that they have used incorrectly, especially when doing so is to your opponent’s advantage rather than your own
Never deliberately waste time during a game
Avoid distracting an opponent when they are trying to concentrate, and be careful to respect their personal space
Never complain about your bad luck or your opponent’s good luck. It’s a dice game!
Never fix the outcome of a game.
Terrain 28mm:

No Terrain Will be considered a Building Unless it is bought for points as a Fortification.

Terrain 8mm:

All buildings are garrisonable, Every Table will contain a number of Size 1 (Civitias Imperialis) buildings and One size 2 (Militas imperialis). These will be marked and explained before the first round start
Impassable terrain will be marked and explained on every table before the first round start
Obscuring terrain will be marked and explained before the first round start
Area terrain will be marked and explained before the first round start
If it looks like a cliff face, it probably is a cliff face. Rounded and slopped are just hills. Ask for TO clarification if an issue arises
Exchange lists
Provide your army list and Proxy List to your opponent and display your models. State any proxies and what they are being used as. Answer any question your opponent may have about your army in a clear manner.
Set-Up and Play
Follow the Set-Up instructions for the current rounds Mission.
Please keep your own time. Organizers will give time announcements, but can often be missed in the bustle of games.
Scoring and Winner
At the end of the game, count up VP as the table mission says VP is calculated then add any VP from Secondaries. The winner will gain 3 Campaign points, and the Loser 1 Campaign point. Ties will award 2 to each player.
Tabling and Concession
If you table your opponent or they concede you may only score the Victory Points possible based on the state of the table. For example if your Squad of Tactical Marines can only move 11 inches including running with one movement phase left, they could not score on an objective 36 inches away.
For clarity, here are the typical time expectations per player:
Pre-game activities, review army lists (both players concurrently): 5 minutes
Deploy your models: 5 minutes
First Turn: 20 minutes
Second Turn: 20 minutes
Third Turn: 20 minutes
Fourth Turn: 20 minutes
Fifth Turn: 15minutes
Each game will play into the larger narrative by scoring Campaign Points.
The winner and loser of a individual game will still be determined by VP earned during the mission
Both 28mm and 8mm games will score Campaign Points in the same manner described below and feed into the same narrative.
Campaign points will be earned in the following ways:
Winning a Game will earn your side 3 Campaign Points.
A Tied Game will earn Both sides 2 Campaign Points
Losing a Game will earn your side 1 Campaign Point.
Missions will have objectives that may earn or lose you Campaign Points for completing them.
Secret Objectives and Legion Objectives will score you Campaign Points.
Other ways that have yet to be determined.
After all games have been played, the Side with more Campaign Points will be determined as the winner of the Campaign and will control Zeta Garmon 8.
